Trust Administration

When you’re named as a trustee, you take on significant responsibilities to ensure the deceased’s wishes are carried out properly. Trust administration involves notifying beneficiaries, valuating assets, paying creditors, filing taxes, and distributing the remaining assets according to the trust terms.

Unlike probate, trust administration is typically not court supervised. However, the process can be complex with strict legal requirements. Our office is here to guide you every step of the way as trustee.

Our Trust Administration Services:

  • Interpreting and ensuring compliance with trust terms
  • Asset management and valuations
  • Beneficiary notifications
  • Creditor claim processing

  • Resolving any disputes that may arise

As your legal partner, we’ll ensure you fulfill all duties as trustee, maintain open communication with beneficiaries, and avoid any missteps that could lead to personal liability. Let us shoulder the legal burden so you can focus on honoring the deceased’s legacy.

Cynthia E. McGee, P.A.

Cindi grew up in North Florida and has called the Central Florida area home for the past 30 years. After graduating from college summa cum laude, she worked as a corporate accountant in the oil and gas industry. Following that she raised four incredible children before pursuing her long held dream of becoming a lawyer.

Cindi graduated magna cum laude at the top of her class from Florida A & M University College of Law. She was honored to be chosen for Law Review and served in leadership on the Law Review’s Editorial Board.

During her last two years in law school she was selected for a National Oceanographic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fellowship, interning at NOAA headquarters in the DC area and serving as a member of the US delegation to the UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission General Assembly in Paris.
